Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1.5 tablespoons melted butter
- Maple syrup for serving
- Butter for cooking
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mix until just combined (lumps are okay)
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat
- Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake
- Cook until bubbles form on surface
- Flip and cook other side until golden
- Serve with butter and maple syrup
Tips
- Don't overmix the batter - lumps are good!
- Wait for bubbles to form before flipping
- Keep warm in a low oven while cooking remaining pancakes
