Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1/2 lb spaghetti
- 12 oz marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, and Parmesan
- Form into 1-inch meatballs
- Brown meatballs in a large pan over medium heat
- Add marinara sauce and simmer for 20 minutes
- Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions
- Serve meatballs and sauce over pasta
- Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan
Tips
- Don't overmix the meatballs or they'll become tough
- Reserve some pasta water to thin the sauce if needed
